Mission

Direct Relief is a medical relief organization, active in all 50 states and in more than 90 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations. The first charitable nonprofit organization in the U.S. to be designated by The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) as a Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributor, Direct Relief is among the largest medical suppliers to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, West Africa in response to the Ebola epidemic, the Philippines following Typhoon Haiyan, and Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
