The Mangrove Association is a grassroots community organization that works to strengthen capacities, build skills, and implement agricultural practices that improve the quality of life of the population in the Bay of Jiquilisco Watershed of El Salvador. Our strategies are centered around building local capacity and developing participatory decision-making mechanisms so communities are organized and strong and resilient in the face of natural disasters, economic uncertainty, and political turmoil.
