Mission

The Borneo Project works alongside indigenous communities in Malaysian Borneo to protect their unique and imperiled rainforests. We believe that protecting environmental integrity in Borneo is a critical component of a healthy global ecosystem and a just and peaceful world. Indigenous communities in Sarawak are working on the frontline of the climate movement, fighting to protect their forests in the face of intense industrial pressure. We work to strengthen indigenous-led campaigns for tropical rainforest protection, land rights and justice.
