Dear family, It's time to give our classrooms a face lift! The Bienvenido Project is committed to the renovation of 3 classrooms by the end of the 2023 school year. The project consists of painting the classrooms, doors installation, replacing broken desks/chairs and installing ceiling fans for hot summer days. We're creating a safe & welcoming space where 60 children are nourished and cared for, as they go through their daily learning experiences. Your collaboration is our success. Thanks
We have 3 classrooms that need renovation in order to improve physical conditions and offer a comfortable and safe environment for 60 children of the initial level in The Bienvenido Project. When this project is completed, the children will enter a room that is conformtable, refresh and excited to learn. This happens as damage walls are repair and painted. Broken chairs and table will not be a concerns for accidents. The air in the classroom will be better with new fans were installed.
Let's divide the classrooms and put doors, paint the walls, brighten the classrooms more. Acquire 4 fans and 6 tables with chairs for students of the Initial Level. The problem will be solved with the collaboration of all our staff, donors, family supporters and helpers of the Bienvenido Project.
The benefits of our feeding & scholarship programs are already being seen. This past year, three youth from the program began studying at universities on scholarships. This would not have been possible without the care we were able to provide for these individuals. As the program continues, and the children grow, we expect to see more children graduating and moving on to become college educated. This will stop the cycle of poverty and provide a different life trajectory for the next generation.
