The "Educational Tents" project aims to provide basic education for approximately 300 children in informal camps in the countryside of Suran, northern Syria, in addition to offering literacy programs for 200 women. The project will contribute to building a better future for children and women by supporting education in a challenging environment
Due to the Syrian war, thousands of children have been deprived of education, threatening their future and increasing the risks of falling into poverty, crime, and extremism. Additionally, women in these camps face significant challenges due to illiteracy, making it difficult for them to support their children's education or improve their daily lives
The project will establish educational tents in the camps equipped with all the necessary educational materials, including books and school supplies, and will train volunteer teachers. Moreover, interactive workshops will be offered to support women's literacy, ensuring sustainable education for children and empowering mothers to improve their living conditions
In the long run, the project will improve children's chances of obtaining an education, enabling them to build a better future and avoid falling into cycles of poverty or extremism. It will also empower women in the camps by addressing illiteracy, enhancing their role in society, and their ability to support their children's educational journey
