Unsilenced Voices has been working on creating partnerships to continue and expand our reach. We are expanding our community sensitization programs to schools in and around Bo, Sierra Leone and we have partnered with a celebrity in the Los Angeles area to help us generate awareness (the celebrity will be revealed soon!).
Unsilenced Voices will be starting programing in the USA while fullfilling our obligations to Ghana and Sierra Leone. We plan to hold quarterly educational summits in LA to help the many victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex traffiking in California. The founder, Michelle Jewsbury, is traveling worldwide speaking about this epidemic so we can see tremendous change around the world.
We are having huge success educating women and men in villages and in the city, but we continue to need more help. We are hoping that by bringing influencers on our team, we can raise the money needed for both Ghana and Sierra Leone so we can expand not only to the United States, but also Nepal and Rwanda.
Save the date for October 23. We will be holding a fundraising event in Los Angeles with LN2 restaurant on Melrose 6pm-9pm. $49 General Admission and $99 VIP PRESALE
