International Childhood Cancer Day was established to raise awareness about this disease, seeking to express support for children with cancer, survivors and their families.
In Chile, more than 500 children are diagnosed each year, and it is thanks to the work of Fundación Nuestros Hijos, in a joint effort with public health, that more than 80% of childhood cancer patients survive. Despite this excellent survival rate, 8 out of 10 children need rehabilitation from their cancer treatment.
Cancer doesn't wait, children can't wait either. Help us raise funds to continue providing the best possible quality of life for children with cancer.
It is a matter of justice...
