It is therefore important to directly assess their material shortcomings, or measure their multidimensional poverty. Nevertheless, in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic, as parents lose their jobs and sources of income, it is also important to measure what happens to children living in monetary poor and impoverished
Although Bolivia had a president transition just 2 months before the crysis of Covid-19; with the delaration of COVID-19 by WHO on the 11th March 2020, the pandemic has not just been a public heath crisis; but rather, a crisis that was expected to touch every sector; by 4/08/2020 close to 692K people globally have already lost their lives to the scourge (COVID-19 worldometer). This describes the magnitude to which this pandemic needs to be prevented form spreading to where it can be controlled.
Given that: The spread of the virus is scaling down globally; with the advice from World Health Organization that: Handwashing remains the No. 1 tip for preventing the spread of COVID-19; Sodis is therefore contented that, to promote quality, sustainable and potential life quality and survival in southern Bolivia, Sodis district; the organiztion will continue to advocate for the prevention of COVID-19 by providing homes, schools and hospitals with liquid soap and face masks.
If we can protect the lives of our communities from this dangerous threat; our people and childens at home and schools will be able to perform well. Hence, globally, we will recovery from the aftermath threat of this virus. We want familys to make more face masks for their communities, and try to rejoin the economy in bolivia by doing it.
