Dear Partners,
Conservation is strongest when communities have economic opportunities that do not depend on destroying natural resources. That is why sustainable livelihoods are at the heart of our Cross River Gorilla conservation strategy.
Families living near gorilla habitats often face economic challenges that make forest exploitation seem like the only option. Through community-led solutions, we are helping create alternatives that support income generation while protecting biodiversity.
Sustainable development, poverty reduction, environmental protection, and wildlife conservation are closely connected. By reducing economic pressure on forests, we can decrease habitat destruction and support long-term gorilla survival.
Your donations help fund conservation education, livelihood training, and community engagement activities that empower local residents to become environmental stewards. These investments create lasting benefits for both people and wildlife.
Healthy communities are essential for successful conservation. When families have opportunities to thrive, they become strong allies in protecting endangered species and preserving natural habitats.
Thank you for supporting solutions that benefit both communities and conservation.
