SEA's annual summer program brings students together for environmental fun and learning through games, art and interactive demonstrations. As one of our most important programs, the SEA Summer Program inspires students to be environmental leaders through hands-on activities in conservation, restoration and preservation led by local experts. Through this program, SEA and our community partners are cultivating the next generation of environmentally responsible citizens.
From colonization to heavy industry, our community has experienced immense harm for the benefit of others. The people of St. Croix must not suffer for polluting industries that contribute to the climate crisis. St. Croix deserves healthier solutions, a just energy transition, and the opportunity to meaningfully engage in the decision-making process. Youth especially, deserve the chance to contribute to our community and they deserve access to the information and tools to create positive change.
With justice and equity as our priorities and by intentionally engaging youth and those impacted the most by polluting industries, we address environmental issues through building the environmental literacy and advocacy skills of our community.
