Summary

This project aims to support young Ukrainian athletes who have been affected by the war in Ukraine and are in a difficult financial situation. The project includes providing monthly support to 32 Ukrainian athletes for continuing their careers, as it provides them with the necessary resources to train and compete at the highest level. Without this support, many talented athletes may not have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, which would be a significant loss for them and for their country.

Challenge

The war in Ukraine has caused destruction, displacement and loss of life. Ukrainian athletes have been forced to fight for their lives and the safety of their families, with more than 200 athletes killed since the conflict began. Despite this, they continue to represent their country on the international stage and provide inspiration for their fellow citizens. Many of yang Ukrainian athletes was affected by the war and found themselves in a difficult financial situation.

Solution

The support of young Ukrainian athletes is crucial for their continuing careers, as it provides them with the resources to train and compete at the highest level. Without adequate support, many talented athletes may not have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, which would be a significant loss for both the individuals and the country as a whole. Financial support is one of the most critical forms of assistance for athletes, as it allows them to access the resources they need to compete.

Long-Term Impact

The long-term impact of the project is to provide sustainable support for Ukrainian athletes affected by the war, promote anti-war values, and encourage international sports organizations to ban athletes who support violent regimes' actions. This will inspire Ukrainian people to continue their struggle for peace, contribute to the global anti-war movement, and protect human rights and democratic principles.
