The COVID-19 crisis has impacted everyone's way of life, but it is especially difficult for our at-risk population, our youth. These youth face multiple challenges, many are still dealing with the trauma and loss of the devastating 2017 hurricane season, they live in poverty, do poorly in school, and lack stability and structure in their daily lives. The uncertainty of this crisis has added hopelessness to the mix.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our students are forced to start the school year virtually. In order to continue to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our youth, our flagship Caterpillar program has undergone a "metamorphosis" as we switched from in-person to virtual sessions. Your donation will help: Feed our children and meet their nutritional needs-Provide hygiene products and cloth facial masks to help stop the spread of the virus- Continue remote instruction- And more...
