Train and Empower 120 Youths in Shoe Making

Across Nigeria, millions of unemployed young people are searching for hope, opportunity, and a pathway to financial independence. Thanks to your support, our “Empower Youth Through Shoe-Making Skills Training” project is preparing to transform the lives of 120 vulnerable and underserved youths through practical vocational training and entrepreneurship development.

For many young people like Samuel, unemployment has meant uncertainty, frustration, and lost confidence. But vocational skill acquisition can change everything. Through this initiative, participants will receive 18 months of intensive hands-on shoe-making training led by 15 experienced local artisans. They will learn practical craftsmanship, leatherwork, footwear production, design, and small business management skills that can help them create sustainable livelihoods.

This project is more than just training; it is about restoring dignity, reducing poverty, and creating economic opportunities for young people in Nigeria. By equipping youths with employable and income-generating skills, we are helping communities fight unemployment, youth dependency, and economic hardship.
