Thank you for supporting our microproject to purchase a new water filtration system for the children's home. We created this as a special 90-day campaign under our Everyday Heroes project. Although the campaign ended before reaching its $3,000 goal, your generous donations raised $1,700 toward this essential need.
A reliable water filtration system is critical for the health of our children and staff, so we are combining your gifts with funds from our Everyday Heroes project to purchase the new equipment. Thank you for helping make this possible.
The Everyday Heroes fund has also been there when unexpected repairs couldn't wait. Earlier this year, strong winds brought a tree down onto the girls' dormitory roof. With the power out and rain coming in, we moved the girls to the safety of the library for the night. By the next day, our staff had repaired the roof, checked the electrical system, and the girls were able to move back into their home.
Your support has also funded new divider curtains for the library, creating separate spaces for reading, homework, and small group activities. We've paved several heavily used pathways to make them safer during the rainy season, when mud can quickly become slippery.
These projects may not be the most visible, but they are some of the most important. Safe drinking water, secure buildings, and well-maintained facilities allow our children to focus on what matters most - learning, growing, and enjoying a safe place to call home.
Thank you for being one of Warm Heart's Everyday Heroes. Your generosity keeps our campus safe, healthy, and ready for whatever comes next.
