Dear Generous Supporters,
Though our "Eid Joy for All" project on GlobalGiving has concluded, the spirit of generosity you ignited continues to shine brightly. We at Muwakhat Foundation want to share a heartwarming glimpse into how your kindness transformed Eid for countless vulnerable children and families.
Thanks to your incredible support, Eid was truly a day of joy and dignity for many:
783 children beamed with pride in their brand new Eid clothes, experiencing the simple happiness of a fresh start.
1218 bags of flour were distributed, ensuring that families could prepare nourishing meals and no one went hungry on the festive day.
1800 nutritious meal boxes brought smiles and comfort to those who needed it most, allowing them to celebrate with a full tummy.
The laughter and smiles we witnessed were a testament to your compassion. You didn't just provide clothes and food; you shared hope and restored dignity.
A New Challenge: The Rainy Season's Grip
As July and August bring the heavy monsoon rains, life becomes incredibly challenging for homeless families. The downpours make it nearly impossible for daily wage earners to find labor, cutting off their only source of income. For these families, every day is a struggle to generate income and simply fill their tummies. The relentless rain amplifies their hunger and hardship.
Your Support Can Bring Sunshine Through the Storm
Now, more than ever, these families need our collective embrace. We humbly request your generous support to help us provide emergency food and shelter assistance during these trying months.
Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Bonus Day on GlobalGiving! Your donation during this special event could be matched, making your kindness go even further. Together, we can ensure that even amidst the rain, no child or family goes to bed hungry.
Thank you for being a beacon of hope.
With deepest gratitude,
