AGTR, founded in 1989, initially operated from a humble living room, driven by a passion to improve the conditions of domestic workers. Over the years, we've grown, starting with a small room in Jesús María and expanding our services to provide workshops and counseling to these essential workers. As our impact grew, so did our need for space, prompting moves to various locations, each one chosen to better serve our community.
Now, in our current location since 2024, we offer crucial job training workshops, legal support, and emotional care to domestic workers, empowering them with knowledge and resources to navigate their rights and working conditions. With your support, we can secure a new space to continue our vital mission of advocacy and assistance. Your donation will directly contribute to facilitating our relocation and ensuring continuity in our efforts to uplift and empower domestic workers.
In 2023, 559 domestic workers have been informed about their rights. 207 domestic workers were trained in our workshop: Home efficient care. 153 domestic workers carried out specialized workshops. 162 domestic workers were placed in jobs with a written contract. 27 domestic workers participated in the art therapy.
Your generosity is pivotal in sustaining our work and workshop making a tangible difference in the lives of countless women and girls. Join us in our commitment to support these essential members of our community by contributing to our relocation fund. Thank you for believing in our cause and standing with us in solidarity.
I share with you some pictures in our difference place. Help us to get a new one!!!!
Regards,
Ágata Zumaeta
