This project will facilitate a second year University girl pay her tuition for semester one of year two. Eve has been studying but with funds paid by well wishers, she is not sure of how next semester will be, her dad succumbed to cancer of the Esophagus and passed on, she is also doing some house work for one family who pays her 20 dollars per month, she uses it for food and transport
Eve is in her second year at University in Uganda, she has been studying but missing classes and examinations due to lack of tuition.When girls start missing school they are far more likely to be exposed to other risks such as early pregnancy, marriage and HIV/AIDS. 90% of girls in Uganda have fallen victims of this circumstance
She will never again miss examinations once tuition is paid in time, she will be in position to settle for books and concentrate on her studies till she completes University.
Increasing girl's completion of education cycle is a critical component of efforts to build their wider empowerment and in particular for ensuring that they are more able to be involved in decision making. Eve will complete studies and this will increase her capacity to handle issues, she will rise out of poverty, she will also be able to help her self and those around her.
