Some Comments from YOU! Our supporters!

By Louise and the KTD196 Dream Team | Director

Camp Time is HERE!!
Camp Time is HERE!!

Avuxeni, minjane? Umfikile minjane! (Greetings, how are you? I am well thank you!)

I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help and support, not just to KTD196 and the children but also for the support you have shown me personally during the last 2months. I love the fact that people feel comfortable enough to enquire about how I am, and how I am recovering. It shows that you are invested not just in the program as donors but at a heart level as well, I TRULY APPRECIATE THAT! I am serious when I say, please drop me a line if you have any questions. I try and respond relatively quickly apart from the last two months.

I thought it worth sharing a few peoples comments in response to the emails I send out from people who were strangers, who have become friends over the 11yrs since we started with GlobalGiving.

I think the work that you are doing with Keep the Dream is amazing.  I have been retired for about 11 years after having a full time career in business and therefore do not have any colleagues to promote KTD196 to.  I will however make an effort to promote it to my friends although I know several of them are committed to other charities.  I first started donating as my daughter had volunteered for a few weeks with Project Impact in South Africa some years ago, and through that I linked into GlobalGiving and found your project which interested me.

I love reading the stories from the young people who have benefited from all that you do.  It is so uplifting to hear of what they are achieving.

Keep up the wonderful work.

Best wishes, Susan

I am so sorry to hear that you needed to go in to hospital. Kudos to you that your team has been empowered to continue the camp without you. Well done! I hope you get better quickly.

Sending lots of love and hugs

Anja

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am that I am involved with your journey. It is so exciting to read of all you are doing and may God bless you all abundantly as you continue your work.

It’s good to hear you are recovering from your operation and I pray your shoulder will be just like a new one.

I was very surprised when I received your email but encouraged at the same time.

I do talk about your work to people particularly family and show them emails from you in the hope they will want to become a part of  “the family “.  I can assure you that when I meet someone who shows interest in your work I shall pounce!!

Take care. You’re doing an amazing work out there. As I write this I heard “His banner over me is love”. So be encouraged. Our Father is so pleased with the work you are achieving and His love and protection is over you always.

God bless. Take care

Daphne

I cant tell you what it means to me, to have people just drop me a line, a sentance, to say, I am thinking of you, never lone a whole letter, thank you. This is just a small number of letters I have received, but I so appreciate people taking time out of their busy days to build relationship with me personally and KTD196 as an organization.

Thank you once again for making such a difference in the lives of the children we serve. We continue to grow and develop. In fact I am in process writing the Annual Report for 2022 and I am amazed at all we have acheived through your support as an organization, but I will share more next week I hope.

Blessings to you, and thank you.

Louise
