SERUDS NGO has been providing nutritious food to 30 destitute elderly people in Harijanawada slum, Budhavarapet, Kurnool. Since massive 2009 floods in Kurnoo Town, as part of activities SERUDS have been established midday meals center for the destitute elderly persons, who are neglected by their sons, daughters. These elderly persons are staying at neighbours houses, community halls, grave yard, temples. We have been identified them and observed the necessity of feeding the neglected destitute elders. By seeing this critical juncture, we are providing food for hapless senior citizens.
With your kind generous support, we are able to provide quality nuttritious food to the all the 30 destitute elderly persons. The hot meals includes, Stemed Cooked Rice, Dhal, Fresh vegetable curry, Seasonal fruit, Seasonal Traditional Pickle. With this nutritious food the healths levels has been increased. Destitute older women are expressed sincere gratitutde for feeding them. The health care of the Older Persons have been increased.
