Because of your generous support, Thierry and Bertin are receiving the academic support they need to strengthen their skills and improve their grades. They participate in an intensive tutoring program that meets four days a week for eight weeks after school and continues through the summer vacation, providing them with consistent encouragement and learning opportunities.
Education is highly valued in Rwanda and is seen as a pathway to opportunity and a brighter future. However, students who face challenges such as food insecurity and limited lighting at home often have difficulty keeping up with their studies. While not every student experiences these hardships, these barriers make your support especially meaningful for Thierry and Bertin.
