Dear Sponsors of Silvia,
Once again we thank you so very much for your support for Silvia. Just last week she accompanied our Social Worker to a rural community where we support three students in elementary school. Silvia was able to take this opportunity to do some of her practical studies, examining the eyes of the sheep in that community. Fortunately about 80 % of the sheep were healthy and only 20% had minor eye irritations. Silvia took samples to be examined in the lab.
Included here is a letter from Silvia for her sponsors.

Dear Sponsor, I write to you very happy. I can tell you that this year the classes have become more difficult, but even so, I am putting more enthusiasm because I am sure that I can do even more.
Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me. Thank you very much. I am very grateful to god for having found this project becuase of the support it gives me. It is very beautiful for me to be part of a family where I can aask questions, give suggestions and more than that, I can learn from the others.
The experience of other people is something that is very useful to me in life, even more so when it means learning from mistakes that I should not commit in the future.
I like very much to feel the affection of others.
I live with my cats and I love them very much as they are the most wonderful company for me. They even keep me company when I have to study. I'm not too sure if you like cats, many people do not, but truly for me they are beautiful.
At the moment I am working at the movie theatre. Now I am in the area of sales of popcorn and soda pop, it is ralther tiring, but one does have to work, is that not true! Now that I have investigated to see what I will need closer to graduation, I realize that I will have to save money to do my thesis and receive my diploma. As there is still time, I will continue working to save up what I will need.
Thank you for helping me. I send a hug from the distance.
