By Jane Wells | Founder and Executive Director 3 Generations
At 3 Generations we have been working to raise awareness of the threat fracking poses to Native American lands for over two years. In that time we have achieved so much, including several visits to Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota that produced a feature documentary film A Different American Dream.
And our work has only begun. The film will have its US Premiere in October in New York City. And with that comes the roll out of our engagement campaign.
Today on Global Giving we are proud to announce the re-design of that campaign, with a new titile and an expanded focus. We have re-named our campaign Saving Native Lands and Language, a title that emphasizes what we have learned are critical needs to support work by members of the MHA Nation on Fort Berthold.
We are now supporting efforts to preserve the three languages of the MHA Nation. This call to action is now a critical element of the engagement campaign of film A DIfferent American Dream.
We are thrilled to be a the forefront of connecting the preservation of traditional cultures with action on environmental justice.
We have other complememtary films and videos nearing completition. With your support we will be able to roll them out along with their vital calls to action.
If you care about the preservation of all pristine landscapes, please support this project.
If you understand that the loss of language and culture is a loss to all humanity, please lend your support to this vital work.
At 3 Generations we are a small team tackling complex and important issues. We invite you, your friends and colleagues to join us in this work. You will be making an impact.
Thank you
