A Future for Her – Widows Empowerment Program
Detailed Report and Support Request
Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal
Project Overview
The “A Future for Her” initiative is a women’s empowerment program launched by Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal, dedicated to helping widows rebuild their lives with dignity and self-reliance.
The project focuses on training widows in tailoring and garment production, equipping them with lifelong skills and the opportunity to generate sustainable income for themselves and their families.
Training Duration and Method
The training program runs for six months, covering both theoretical and hands-on practical learning.
During this period, participants will learn:
Fundamental and advanced sewing techniques
Fabric handling and garment finishing
Basic design principles
Small business management and marketing skills
Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a brand-new sewing machine, enabling her to start her own home-based tailoring business or local garment enterprise.
Post-Training Support
Our support continues even after the completion of training.
Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal will work with local markets and partner organizations to help graduates sell their products and access fair market opportunities, ensuring that their path toward financial independence is long-lasting and sustainable.
Current Status
The project has been warmly received and partially supported.
However, the available funds are not yet sufficient to launch the program fully.
So far, we have raised USD 1,205 out of the USD 9,500 required to cover the total project cost.
The need remains urgent, and the participants are eagerly waiting for this opportunity to begin. Our team and trainers are ready to start as soon as the remaining funds are secured.
Acknowledgment and Appeal
We sincerely thank all our generous donors who have contributed to this noble cause. Your belief in empowering vulnerable women is deeply valued and appreciated.
We humbly appeal to our partners, well-wishers, and supporters to join hands with us to complete the funding for this project.
With your contribution, we can provide widows with the tools and training they need to live with dignity, independence, and hope.
Together, we can give them a future — “A Future for Her.”
