Uruguay Food Bank has launched a campaign to make sure that 14 institutions providing food to low-income people throughout the year have access to powdered milk.
“Powdered milk is very much welcome as it is the core of the breakfast and tea we serve for our 150 children. We have finally been able to meet that need. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your invaluable support.” Laura Juan, Deputy Head of the Liceo Francisco (Francisco High School) (Paysandú, Uruguay).
Thanks to the support we receive from GlobalGiving and other organizations, every month we are providing 14 institutions with the milk they need to serve a daily glass to their children.
75,000 glasses of milk have been served so far in 2022 which are equivalent to 75,000 smiles on the faces of those children.
And it is that, the smiles on children´s faces, which motivate us to keep on working to achieve this goal every month of the year.
We give “75,000 thank you” to each and every person that help us to keep on serving glasses of milk and putting smiles on children´s faces.
