Fueling Dreams Milk for Vulnerable Kids in Uruguay

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our donors for their generous contributions to the A Glass of Milk for Uruguayan Children project. Your unwavering support has enabled us to distribute 368,590 glasses of milk to 35 social organizations throughout the country this year, providing essential nutrition to children who rely on these organizations for daily sustenance.

As you know, dairy products play a crucial role in the healthy development of children. Milk is a rich source of calcium, protein, and essential vitamins like vitamin D, all of which are vital during the growth stages. Adequate access to dairy helps children build strong bones, develop properly, and supports their overall health and well-being. Unfortunately, many children in Uruguay do not have regular access to these important nutrients due to economic hardship, which can lead to deficiencies and long-term health challenges.
