First of all, we would like to thank you all for the great support you gave us during the Little by Little campaign. Thanks to your commitment, the result has been even greater than we expected!
The funds raised on that occasion will be used to buy ten sheep for ten new families.
Moreover, we have updates from the project! In fact, in January, our Project Assistant Ilaria, together with some Aleimar volunteers, went on a monitoring trip to Eritrea. This time, they were able to visit a rural village which had been unreachable until then. That moment has been deeply emotional! Ilaria and the volunteers met the families that received the sheep last year. They also experienced goat milking; this made them realize how precious a sheep is for those families, since it ensures milk every day. Finally, some lambs were born during the last months and the families are going to donate them in their turn to other families in need. The mutual help and support between these families, is certainly one of the best parts of the project!
