Dear friend,
Our project manager Abrehet who lives in Asmara, Eritrea, has recently written us this letter. We really want to share it with you, hoping that your generosity will help rescue this wonderful country.
“Dear friends and donors,
We are currently facing a confused and dramatic situation. You can only imagine how big is our gratitude feeling that you are standing with our nation. Your help and sympathy are letting us see a real chance of overcoming this dark and uncertain period.
Sometimes our health facilities are being locked down, sometimes the doors of those buildings are broken down. In both cases, we had to instantly leave the facilities and relocate everyone and everything.
It is heartbreaking leaving a place where you spent many wonderful years, our best years, when we would run from house to house trying to visit and heal the sick, and helping the villagers in any possible way.”
Considering that now there’s no possibility of working with the health facilities (almost all closed), the project ‘A sheep for you’ becomes important more than ever.
Purchasing a sheep (or a goat, or a donkey) is now one of the few means left to reach directly the families who are in economic and social trouble. The animal can help them become financially independent as well as equip them with an efficient mean of transport for goods.
Thanks to the donations we received during the last months, we could purchase two sheeps for two families!
In fact, with less than 100€ you can donate a sheep for a family in need and change their lives forever.
In such a difficult and dark period, your generosity can really save someone’s life. You can help us here.
Thank you, from the bottom of our heart!
