Care for Infants
Since its inception in 1994, ABC Health Foundation has given excellent care for pregnant mothers, infants, and children. This care has been in the form of family medicine, as our medical team has been trained to care for the whole person and the whole family, offering cradle-to-grave care. We believe that children are the key to a strong future and our Team cares for every child as if he or she were our own. In 2022 ABC added its first paediatrician to compliment its formidable family medical care and now has two paediatricians to provide the most comprehensive medical care for children possible.

All ABC patients, especially children, are given unique attention no matter what their situation, from vaccines to fevers to flu to more uncommon illnesses. ABC has also offered maternity care and well-baby visits for the last 30 years, both of which allows parents to be better equipped to meet the health needs of their babies. It has been our privilege to meet the medical needs for children and we hope to be a leader in Albania of this care on into the years to come.


The ABC Internship Program
During the last 20 years, ABC has had the privilege of training over 20 medical doctors and 4 physical therapists through its internship program. The internship program has varied from 2 years to 6 months depending on the specific needs of each intern and it is a very thorough program, covering all the major areas of family medicine or physical therapy respectively. In addition, much time is given focusing on ethics, excellent patient care, care for the whole patient, and utilizing a team-based approach while referencing the most recent findings and latest research in family medicine.

A very unique facet of ABC's internship program is that it is a hands-on internship in which the intern is able to learn through working with real patients in the ABC clinic while being overseen by our Medical Director and directed by well trained and experienced Family Doctors or Physical Therapists. It has been our great joy to see so many doctors and physical therapists trained at ABC into well-seasoned medical professionals who are now providing excellent care for thousands of patients.
