At the end of 2024, we celebrated a significant transition in the leadership of ABC Health Foundation. After years of devoted service, Mr. Micah Turner has transitioned his responsibilities to Mr. Gerion Treska, who now serves as the new Executive Director. Gerion brings a fresh vision and unwavering commitment to our mission, guiding the ABC Health Foundation confidently into the future. Under his leadership, we are actively exploring a new location to support our growth, strengthening our ongoing initiatives, and seeking new opportunities to provide compassionate, Christian value-based care to those we serve. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Micah for his extraordinary dedication and impact, and we lift him, his wife Mollie, and their children in prayer as they continue their mission in Albania.
During the last months, our team has embarked on specialized training to enhance their skills in ultrasound technology. We are thrilled to have recently acquired a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, a significant addition that will enable us to provide even more comprehensive care to our patients. This new capability is especially impactful for our palliative care patients, offering timely diagnostics that not only improve efficiency but also reduce the need for external referrals, saving both time and costs. With this machine, we can ensure a higher standard of care while maintaining the compassionate and personalized approach that defines our mission.
