1st Quarterly Progress Report, Oct – Dec 2022 

ABKT Actvities in Floods 2022:

  1. Immediately after the floods, ABKT gathered the data and assessment of flood affected areas especially Upper Dir, Lower Dir and Swat and shared that data and assessment in compiled report form with individuals, organizations, UN agencies and other stakeholder to highlight the issues, challenges and specific needs of different segment of flood affected communities such as women and children.
  2. ABKT has been raising funds through individual philanthropy and providing immediate support to the flood affected people. ABKT is also accepted in-kind support from organizations Feminist Friday Peshawar and Idara Taleem-o-Aghi (ITA) Islamabad and individuals (Journalist) and took them to the affected people (such as hygiene kits, dignity kits for women, NIFs, cloths, sheets, and other necessary items).
  3. ABKT has launched a flash appeal at international level through crowd funding GlobalGiving and has raised some fund through that appeal. The fund will be used for the rehabilitation and restoration of livelihood of the flood affected people (women & children). ABKT is representing the people of the target areas at different national and international forums (UN cluster system, national and international networks, print and electronic media and social media).
  4. ABKT is planning and designing a number of projects for the restoration and rehabilitation of flood affected people (community basic infrastructure, health, education and livelihood)  in Upper Dir, Lower Dir and Swat.
