Uroczysta Inauguracja Akademii Przyszlosci 2025/2026

„Chyba dzis odkrylem kawalek siebie, którego wczesniej nie znalem” – powiedzial jeden z Podopiecznych Akademii Przyszlosci podczas wojewódzkiej inauguracji kolejnej edycji programu. Motywem przewodnim tegorocznej inauguracji sa puzzle.

Dlaczego puzzle?

Kazdy puzzel jest inny – i kazdy jest potrzebny. Ma swój unikalny ksztalt, kolor i miejsce w ukladance. Podobnie kazde dziecko jest wyjatkowe – jego obecnosc, emocje, pomysly i marzenia maja znaczenie. Bez jednego puzzla obraz byby niepelny.

Nie da sie ulozyc calej ukladanki od razu. Potrzeba czasu, cierpliwosci, prób i bledów – tak samo jak w budowaniu pewnosci siebie, relacji czy poczucia sprawczosci. W Akademii wspólne ukladanie puzzli to praca zespolowa: relacja Dziecka z Wolontariuszem lub Wolontariuszka, spotkania, rozmowy i zadania tworza wieksza calosc, budujac poczucie wartosci, zaufanie i odwage do bycia soba.

„Nie wiedzialam, ze tak fajnie mozna malowac pewnosc siebie!”

Na poczatku nowego roku szkolnego Wolontariusze, Wolontariuszki i Dzieci z jednego rejonu Akademii (tzw. kolegium) laczeni sa w pary, aby wspólnie ukladac swoje „puzzle” i wzmacniac pewnosc siebie kazdego dziecka.

Premiera interaktywnego komiksu – Przygodnik

Przygodnik Akademii Przyszlosci to interaktywny komiks, który pokazuje, ze nauka przez zabawe moze byc prawdziwa przygoda. Projekt powstal we wspólpracy ze specjalistkami z zakresu psychologii, pedagogiki i grywalizacji, a scenariusz oraz ilustracje przygotowal Adam Swiecki.

W bezpiecznej, wirtualnej przestrzeni Przygodnika Dziecko podejmuje decyzje, dzieki którym uczy sie skutecznej komunikacji, empatii, wspólpracy oraz radzenia sobie z trudnymi emocjami i sytuacjami spolecznymi. Choc historia jest lekka i pelna przygód, opiera sie na sprawdzonych metodach:

• Trening Umiejetnosci Spolecznych (TUS) – cwiczenie komunikacji i wspópracy w scenkach i sytuacjach spolecznych.
  
  
• Podejscie poznawczo-behawioralne (CBT) – pytania pomagajace zrozumiec emocje i reakcje.
  
  
• Narracyjne metody edukacyjne – pokazujace, ze opowiesci moga wzmacniac i budowac samoocene.
  
  
• Teoria samostanowienia (Deci & Ryan) – wspieranie trzech kluczowych potrzeb dzieci: autonomii, relacji i poczucia kompetencji.
  
  

Dzieki temu Przygodnik jest czyms wiecej niz komiksem – staje sie doswiadczeniem, które dzieci moga wykorzystac w codziennym zyciu.

Raport: „Co zabija dziecieca wiare w siebie?”

Tylko 8% rodziców ocenia swoje dziecko jako bardzo pewne siebie, a 14% przyznaje, ze ich dzieci maja niskie poczucie wasnej wartosci. Raport Akademii Przyszlosci identyfikuje czynniki, które negatywnie wpywaja na poczucie pewnosci siebie dzieci, oraz wskazuje obszary, w których dorosli moga skutecznie wspierac mlodych ludzi.

Najczesciej wskazywano:

• przemoc slowna lub hejt ze strony rówiesników – 87%

Ceremonial Opening of the Academy of the Future 2025/2026

"I think today I discovered a part of myself I didn’t know before," said one of the Academy of the Future participants during the regional opening of the new program edition. This year, the theme of the inauguration is “puzzles.”

Why puzzles?

Each puzzle piece is unique – and every piece is needed. It has its own shape, color, and place in the picture. Similarly, every child is special – their presence, emotions, ideas, and dreams matter. Without even one piece, the picture would be incomplete.

You can’t complete the whole puzzle at once. It takes time, patience, trial, and error – just like building self-confidence, relationships, and a sense of agency. At the Academy, putting the puzzle together is a team effort: the relationship between a child and their volunteer, meetings, conversations, and tasks all form a bigger picture that fosters self-worth, trust, and the courage to be oneself.

At the start of the new school year, volunteers and children from the same Academy region (called a “college”) are paired up to work together on their puzzle pieces and help each child build self-confidence.

Premiere of the Interactive Comic – The Adventure Guide

The Adventure Guide of the Academy of the Future is an interactive comic that shows learning through play can be a true adventure. The project was created in collaboration with specialists in psychology, pedagogy, and gamification, with the script and illustrations by Adam Swiecki.

In the safe, virtual world of the Adventure Guide, children make choices that help them learn effective communication, empathy, cooperation, and how to handle challenging emotions and social situations. While the story is light and adventurous, it is based on proven approaches:

• Social Skills Training (TUS) – practicing communication and teamwork through social scenarios.
  
  
• Cognitive Behavioral Approach (CBT) – questions that help children understand emotions and reactions.
  
  
• Narrative Educational Methods – stories that strengthen and build self-esteem.
  
  
• Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan) – supporting three fundamental needs of every child: autonomy, relationships, and competence.
  
  

Thanks to these methods, the Adventure Guide is more than just a comic – it becomes an experience children can apply in their everyday lives.

Report: “What Destroys Children’s Belief in Themselves?”

Only 8% of parents rate their child as very self-confident, and 14% admit their children have low self-esteem. The Academy of the Future’s report identifies factors that negatively affect children’s self-confidence and highlights areas where adults can provide effective support.

The most frequently mentioned factors were:

• Verbal abuse or bullying from peers – 87%
  
  
• Constant criticism and lack of praise – 87%
  
  
• Comparing themselves to others – 86%
  
  
• The impact of social media – 85% (children comparing themselves to an idealized world, influencers, experiencing online hate, and learning unhealthy patterns)
  
  

“Our report is a call for attentiveness and for creating environments where children feel safe, valued, and empowered. It’s an invitation to talk about how we – as adults – can protect children’s self-confidence and support it every day,” says Agnieszka Grzechnik, Vice President of the WIOSNA Association.
