The Academy of the Future helps children

Title: Thanks to you, children were not alone. Academy of the Future impact report

Recently, we completed another edition of the Academy of the Future. As Donors supporting the programme, you were an important part of it. Today, we would like to share a few stories and reflections that capture what this edition meant for the children involved.

Just a few months ago, many children began their journey with the words:“I’m not really sure…” They felt they had to face their challenges on their own. They struggled with the belief that others were better, smarter or braver than they were.

Fortunately, the latest edition has shown that, at the moments that mattered most, the children supported by the Academy of the Future were not alone.

• Marcin was not alone when he felt like giving up.
• Madzia was not alone when the thought “I’m not good enough” came back again.

While drawing together, going for walks, playing games, enjoying one-to-one football matches, or taking part in Academy events, children discovered something important: they were not alone. Beside them was a Volunteer, a caring adult who helped them see themselves differently. Someone who noticed their efforts, reminded them of their strengths, and stayed with them long enough for them to take the next step.

More than 2,100 children experienced stories like these during this edition of the programme, across 260 partner schools. Together, children and volunteers met more than 44,000 times.

These meetings, conversations, small breakthroughs and life-changing discoveries would not have been possible without Donors lie you.

Although you were not there for the walks, games or conversations, you were present in every child's story. Thanks to your support, Volunteers were able to stand alongside children in moments of doubt, courage and their first successes.

Niedawno zakonczylismy ostatnia edycje Akademii Przyszosci.

Jako Darczyncy wspierajacy program byliscie jego wazna czescia. Dzis chcemy zaprezentowac Wam kilka historii i sów podsumowujacych. Jeszcze kilka miesiecy temu wiele Dzieci zaczynao swoja historie od sów: „Sam_a nie wiem...”. Myslay, ze ze swoimi trudnosciami musza radzic sobie w pojedynke. Zmagay sie z mysla, ze inni sa lepsi, madrzejsi albo odwazniejsi.

Jak pokazuje ostatnia edycja na szczescie w kluczowych momentach zycia Dzieci z Akademii Przyszosci NIE BYY SAME:
