Thank you so much for your generous support of our ACE Holiday Giving 2025 campaign.
Because of your kindness, children in cacao-growing communities in Ghana are receiving the support they need to stay in school, continue learning, and dream about their futures with hope. Your donations are not only helping children today, but also opening doors to what their lives can become tomorrow.
Recently, during our work in the community, we met a child who told us about a very special dream: to become a doctor in the future.
This dream may sound simple, but for many children in Ghana’s cocoa-growing communities, it is not easy to hold on to. Some children are at risk of missing school or being involved in hazardous labour on cocoa farms. When families face economic hardship, education can become uncertain, and dreams can begin to fade.
That is why your support matters so much.
With your donations, children can receive school supplies and educational support that help them continue going to school with confidence. Having notebooks, pens, school bags, and other basic materials may seem small, but these are essential tools that allow children to learn, participate in class, and feel that they belong in school. For a child who dreams of becoming a doctor, these first steps are incredibly important.
Your generosity is helping create an environment where children can say, “I want to study,” and believe that their future is worth pursuing.
At ACE, we believe every child should be free from child labour and free to learn, grow, and choose their own future. Through the SMILE Ghana Project, we work together with local communities to protect children from hazardous labour and support their education. Thanks to you, that work continues.
Thank you for standing with these children and for believing in their potential.
Because of your support, a child’s dream of becoming a doctor is no longer just a dream. It is becoming something that feels possible.
