Earlier this year, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ghana provided 10 (ten) young beneficiaries with tools that will support them in building a better future for them and their families.
The beneficiaries were rescued from trafficking in the Volta Region (Ghana) between 2008 and 2015. Thanks to private donations through the United Sates Association for International Migration (USAIM), following their rescue, they were all enrolled in vocational trainings at the Community Development Vocational Technical Institute in Kpong (Eastern Region).
The ten young men were able to enroll in the vocational programme of the school and choose among general electricals, building and construction, carpentry, plumbing, and auto mechanic trainings. With the support received, they were equipped with tools and safety materials for their respective programmes and, for each, the specific text book relevant to the training of their choice.
These young men are now working hard to achieve their professional goals and, thanks to your invaluable support, are day by day building a better future.
