A glimmer of hope
Kwame and his two sisters Ama and Abena are three former child victims of trafficking. Nana, who was one of Kwame’s primary school teachers, decided to become their adoptive father after learning about their trafficking experience.
Nana says Kwame is a very kind and respectful child, a good role model for other children and has a great desire to learn. Unfortunately, Kwame’s school is far from where he lives. To help Kwame, Nanna bought him a bicycle. But Kwame still has to ride for three hours every day to reach the school. His commitment and passion to learn gives him the strength to engage in this physically taxing exercise every day, but Kwame dreams of moving to a boarding school to be less tired and be able to focus more on his studies.
Thanks to the contribution of many generous donors such as yourself, Kwame could be sponsored to go to a boarding school in August, and further his education, to see his many dreams come true.
