AgroAvanza supports 30 smallholder farmers in Bogota, Boyaca, and Cundinamarca to scale production and access markets. Through technical assistance, certification, business training, and market integration, the project enhances productivity, strengthens entrepreneurial capacities, and improves commercialization, contributing to sustainable economic growth.
Smallholder farmers in Boyaca and Cundinamarca face structural barriers such as limited access to finance, markets, and technical support. Small land size, weak infrastructure, and informality reduce productivity and income. Lack of business skills and certification also limits access to higher-value markets, reinforcing poverty and economic vulnerability.
The project provides technical support, PGS certification, and infrastructure improvements to enhance productivity and quality. It strengthens business, marketing, and digital skills, while developing tailored commercialization strategies and market linkages. This integrated approach improves efficiency, reduces costs, and connects producers to higher-value markets.
The project will increase incomes, strengthen economic resilience, and improve market integration for smallholders. It will build sustainable business models, enhance productivity, and create new job opportunities. Stronger networks, improved skills, and better market access will foster long-term rural development and inclusive economic growth.
