Dear Friend,

Thank you so much for being with us during difficult times.  I am pleased to share that Aid Afghanistan For Education has received 501c3 status and is now registered in the US.   With your help and support, we are able to continue our assistance to the Afghan girls, women, and families.  We are committed to educate the population through our accelerated education program which was a great success in the past twenty years.  It may take a little time to convince the current regime.

Community based classes have been in winter breaks as of the end of November. However, students have been given homework and learning material to work with while they are at home.

Currently, we are exploring to provide education for street-working children.  Due to the economic situation, families are not able to send their children to school.  Most of these children, 8 to 16 years of age, are on the streets working or begging to feed their families.

Also, we are assisting 100 families, victims of the earthquake in Paktika province, with winterization kits.   Meetings with communities have taken place and the most disadvantaged victims have been identified. You will receive the report soon.

Your support is greatly appreciated by the communities and our team.   I wish you a blessed and joyful holiday season.
