Dignified Livelihood Support through Fruit & Vegetable Carts – Hafizabad
In an effort to promote self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan distributed 25 fruit and vegetable vending carts among deserving individuals in District Hafizabad. This initiative aims to empower economically vulnerable families by providing them a dignified source of income.
Through this intervention, beneficiaries—many of whom were previously unemployed or underemployed—now have the opportunity to earn a living, support their households, and contribute productively to society.
This project directly contributes to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 1 – No Poverty: Enabling families to escape the cycle of poverty through self-employment.
SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: Supporting inclusive economic opportunities and micro-entrepreneurship.
SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: Focusing on marginalized and low-income segments of society.
Alkhidmat Foundation remains committed to fostering economic empowerment and dignified living through small-scale livelihood support programs across Pakistan.
