Title: Fruit Carts Distributed to Support Livelihoods in Sargodha
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation distributed 50 fruit carts to deserving individuals in District Sargodha under its Livelihood Support Program, enabling vulnerable families to earn a dignified income and work toward financial self-reliance.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s broader efforts to move families from relief to recovery by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Story / Update
Many families in Sargodha face economic hardship due to unemployment, rising living costs, and the lasting impacts of disasters and economic instability. Without access to capital or employment opportunities, earning a stable income becomes a daily struggle.
To address this challenge, Alkhidmat Foundation implemented a livelihood support initiative by distributing 50 fruit carts to deserving individuals. Each cart provides recipients with a practical means to start or strengthen a small business, allowing them to generate regular income and support their families with dignity.
The beneficiaries were selected through a transparent process, ensuring support reached those most in need. Recipients expressed gratitude, sharing that the carts offer them a fresh start and renewed hope for a sustainable future.
