2023 started well and we are in the process of recruiting participants for this year. We have sent out a total of 50 letters on our social media groups and via hand deliveries. Our participants will include guardians and parents from all Makomborero Zimbabwe programmes which are our Girl Mentorship Programme, Mobile Science Lab, University Grants Scheme and current Internal and External students. We expect a positive response and a recruitment of 20 participants. Our confirmed dates are as follows:
Term 1 Session 1 – 27th February Session 2 - 27th March
Term 2 Session 3 - 15th May Session 4 - 19th June
Term 3 Session 5 – 11th September Session 6 – 2nd October
Makomborero Zimbabwe will provide transport money and a light snack to all participants. Mr Nenga who leads the workshop is ready and looking forward to meeting the new participants. I am looking forward to updating you on how the workshop kicks off in the next report!
