Roshni joined the Ama Ghar family in June 2023 and is the 101st child we’ve welcomed into our home! Roshni was living in an unsafe home environment when she met Sabita (an Ama Ghar alumna) through a local NGO that supports vulnerable families. Sabita saw that Roshni needed to leave her current situation and initiated the referral process for Ama Ghar. Our referral process ensures that we never welcome a child who has immediate or extended family members who could provide them with a safe home environment.
Roshni has settled in well since she came to Ama Ghar. It has been a big adjustment, but she enjoys school and loves playing with new friends, classmates, and her Ama Ghar brothers and sisters. She engages with everyone and has formed a particularly close friendship with her Ama Ghar sister, Saraswoti. She is quick to smile and loves to dance. It has been a joy to watch her blossom into a healthy and happy child, and we are excited to see what her future holds.
Your support through GlobalGiving makes it possible for kids like Roshni to have a real childhood and a bright future. It also allows Ama Ghar to maintain our commitment to having the highest standards for the care we provide and the children we bring in. We couldn’t do what we do without you. Thank you.
