A museum to tell the story of St. Martin

Thank you so much for supporting Les Fruits de Mer and Amuseum Naturalis. We’ve had an amazing fall thanks to your help! Here are a few things we’ve done in the last three months:

• We hosted school class visits and other group visits at Amuseum Naturalis. 
• We just launched our newest book series, Soualikids! It’s designed to help little kids build early word skills about the special island where they live. Each book is a quadrilingual word book, in four of the many languages spoken here: English, French, Spanish and Dutch. The nature books in the series come in pairs. Each pair includes a first book with vivid color photos of local wildlife, and a second companion book with fun coloring pages of the wildlife. The first pair in the series, Soualikids Island and Soualikids Island Coloring Book, star awesome animals that kids can see right here on their island.
• We launched two new bird books, Soualiga Birds and Birds Around Me. They are targeted at early elementary and older elementary students, and encourage writing
• We gave over 3,000 books to local schools in October, and we’re on track to distribute 15,000 books this year!

Thanks so much for your support! All of our books are available for free download, so download some free books! There’s fascinating stuff for kids and people of all ages.

We have received two grants for that will allow us to distribute an additional 1,650 books to students and schools in 2023. To use them, we need to provide €2,294 of our own funding. If you are able to make a donation, please help us reach this goal! It is only about $1.50 per book, so even a small donation can impact many kids.

We’ve got a lot more great things lined up for 2023 and 2024, so stay tuned. As always, thanks for your support. We couldn’t do it without you!
