An Affirming Home for Every LGBTQ Kid

Over the past several months, Mama Dragons has been hard at work expanding our reach to parents who need us most—those in conservative and faith-centered communities where resources for families with LGBTQ+ children are still scarce.

Thanks to your support, our National Outreach Project has now connected with over 400 organizations across the country, including parenting groups, LGBTQ+ centers, mental health providers, and local community programs. Through these partnerships, we’re introducing thousands of parents to Mama Dragons for the very first time—offering them a safe place to learn, ask questions, and find connection.

For many of these families, our invitation comes at just the right time. In regions where misinformation and fear are common, we’re showing up with compassion and understanding, helping mothers begin the journey toward acceptance and affirmation. Each conversation, handout, and presentation opens the door for another family to choose love over fear.

Your generosity allows us to continue this life-changing work. Every dollar helps us build a stronger network of support, one that meets parents where they are—often in the hardest places—and helps them create affirming homes where LGBTQ+ kids can thrive.
