Animal Rescue Project

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project rescuing abandoned animals especially pets whom the owner after sometime gets tired and abandon them. This reporting period we were presented with a unique situation of an animal lover raising goats and decide to abandon them because he transferred to live in the city. He does not want to sell or butcher the animals and and decided to leave the animals to our care. The goats are sickly, very thin and really need a lot of care and support. We took care of the animals and provided them with high-protein grasses, dewormer and vitamins with the aim that in the future if they provide offspring we will disperse the offspring to other farmers nearby. In so doing this will be a small livelihood in the community.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project rescuing animals especially dogs and cats and providing them with food, medicines and warmth. This has become a problem in the barrios especially in remote areas because dogs and cats are left to themselves without proper care and attention. Some of them become rabid and a danger to people. This reporting period, we provided food and medication to 73 dogs in a remote village. We also provided flyers in order to educate local citizens that they should take good care of their animals. In the succeeding months, we will coordinate with the local veterinary office so that they will be able to assist us in this forgotten but very important initiative.
