Students from Santa Lucía High School in Santa Fe Province had the opportunity to visit the El Quillá company. The goal was to provide them with an introduction to the industrial working world.
ACDI aims to expand the horizons of educational and cultural opportunities for students from vulnerable populations, so they can envision their future in a world of personal and professional development enriched by the experiences provided within the framework of their formal education. That's why ACDI promotes recreational, educational, and cultural outings organized by schools participating in the initiative as inclusion tools.
In this context, ACDI supported the proposal of Santa Lucía High School for students to visit the cocoa processing plant "El Quillá" to give them a closer look at the world of industrial work through direct contact with one of the main factories in the Province of Santa Fe.
The visit aimed to help students project themselves personally and professionally, bridging the gap between the world of education and the world of work, and motivating their aspirations. They also had the opportunity to observe the various dimensions from which the issue of work can be approached, taking into account the conditions and safety standards in the workplace. This allowed them to discover and discuss their expectations and interests related to the human dimension of work with their peers, exploring new horizons and performance spaces.
In the class following the visit, there was an exchange about the questions that arose during the tour, and discussions about motivations for their future.
Thank you for being part of this project that improves the quality of education in Argentina!
