Adriel is 14 years old, lives in Santa Fe, and his story inspires us.
His passion for adapted basketball began when he was 9 years old. He started at a club in Santa Fe, where he developed his skills and grew as an athlete. His aspirations were significant from the start; he has already achieved several victories, and many experiences still await him.
Adriel lives with his parents and siblings in a neighborhood of low houses and working families, located in the western outskirts of the city. At school, where he is in his second year of high school, he has many friends, enjoys learning, never misses a class, and his favorite subject is History.
He tells us that in 2023, he was the champion in the second division in Santa Fe, earning a promotion with his team. Additionally, that same year, he received the best news a basketball player could hope for: he was called up to train with the Argentine National Adapted Basketball Team!
His dreams of wearing the national colors are big, and he works hard to achieve them. Now, he eagerly awaits training with the National Team to participate in the upcoming South American Tournament in Peru, where he intends to give his best to continue growing both as an athlete and as a person.
