Zartonk-89 NGO implements Online Olympiad program for school age children. Olympiad is implemented in various spheres, where the learners present their research and creative works. The aim of the Olympiad is to assist in teenagers’ research ability enhancement with the effective usage of Information Technologies. Olympiad is held in www.armolimp.am. The organization has already implemented Online Olympiad on human rights and journalism spheres. The closing day of the Olympiad was held on 10 December 2011 in Human Rights Day. The best tasks were awarded prizes. In the result of Olympiad New media will be used as a training and educational tool. The teenagers will use the Internet more effectively which will assist in their thinking, creative abilities and they will learn about the usage of new media opportunities and effectiveness. Olympiad will assist in free speech; will create a direct environment for communication. Participating in Olympiad the participants rise new ideas, realize them and acquire professional experiences. It is very important as nowadays the young people use the Internet as an entertainment place and by means of online Olympiad the creative activities of the beneficiaries are increased and media is used as an educational resource. The beneficiaries begin to raise the problems of their community and region, present suggestions, try to solve the problems and have results using the Internet and ICT resources. New media = new education, new spirit and positive result. The children participate in online Olympiad with great pleasure. This project is ongoing: To implement such project, it is pleasure and hard work, as we need resources and financial assistance, and your investment can change everything. I think you realize the project necessity and effectiveness in our society, especially among teenagers.
