The Artan Venhari Memorial Run is a community sports and fundraising event honoring the memory of Artan Venhari, a beloved former staff member of RIT Kosovo. The event celebrates his passion for sports and connection to the community while raising funds for the Artan Venhari Scholarship Program, which supports RIT Kosovo students. It also promotes solidarity, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement among students, staff, alumni, and friends.
As a developing country, Kosovo needs a well-educated generation equipped to strengthen institutions, expand opportunity, and respond to community needs. We believe this begins with contemporary, high-quality education that prepares students with critical thinking, practical skills, and a strong sense of civic responsibility. Through hands-on projects and real-world engagement, students are empowered to help solve local challenges and contribute to Kosovo's future.
This project encourages students at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.), particularly within the School of Individualized Studies, to develop practical and innovative ideas that address Kosovo's key challenges. By recognizing and rewarding strong proposals, it aims to inspire student engagement in the social, political, and economic progress needed to build a more prosperous society.
The Scholarship will support at least one student each academic year and help build future policy makers in Kosovo and the region.
