BUILDING HEALTHLY HABITS FOR LONGEVITY

With just a few household items and some loving companionship, lives can be completely changed for the better!  When Angel Projects Uganda first met Yudes and Caroline, they were living in desperate situations.  They were sleeping on dirty, torn-up mattresses, they were lacking basic necessities in their homes, they were struggling to feed themselves, and their illnesses and injuries were going unchecked. Neither of these elderly women had family nearby who could support them and meet their needs, a huge problem in a country with no Medicare or other provisions for seniors.  

Fortunately, Angel Projects Uganda was able to step in to fill the gap.  Staff members brought new mattresses and bedding, cooking utensils, and other household supplies to the ladies' homes.  They also brought nutritious food and helped the ladies cook and clean.  They helped the women bathe and fix their hair.  Most importantly, they brought local medical personnel to Yudes' and Caroline's homes to provide checkups and to intervene with medication and other medical treatment.  This was only the beginning...

...Yudes and Caroline are completely different women today!  Angel Projects Uganda staff members continue to visit them several times a week to help them around their homes as well as to provide them with much needed companionship.  When the women become ill, they are treated right away.  Their smiles say it all: Yudes and Caroline now feel joyful and loved, and this huge life change was made possible by the generous donations of Angel Projects' sponsors.  Thank you for your support!
