We are glad to announce our 10th event of "We are the Change" started in 2013, where Ashoka Japan Youth Venturer and all the "youth taking action" assemble. To make the world where "everyone a changemaker", we will be waiting for you with colourful and enlightening contents for those who want to start their own actions. We are the Change event detail
Date: Saturday, February 7th, 2018 10:00~17:30 (free to join/leave at any time)
Venue: ThinkPark Tower 17th floor, Boehringer Ingelheim Japan (1-minute walk from JR Osaki station)
Contents: the 32nd Panel Screening of the youth venturer candidates, talk session by Ashoka fellows, open-sessions by youth venturers and alumni etc...

About ASHOKA
Founded in 1980, Ashoka is the largest network of "social entrepreneurs" based in Washington D.C, United States. Ashoka

Youth Venture
A program for youth, between the age range of 12 to 20, started in 2000 in the United States and in 2012 in Japan. Through this program, Ashoka has been supporting the youth who take actions with their full passion, to solve the small issues with that they notice in their everyday life as Youth Venturer. Ashoka has supported 85 groups (350 individuals) so far.
We are the Change
This is the event where Youth Venturers around the country, the youth taking or about to take action, the changemakers in Japan all assemble. The sessions such as Panel Screening for the Youth Venturer candidates, open-session by current Youth Venturers or alumni, talks by Ashoka fellows will be taken place. This is not only the insightful educational space but also where people meet new changemakers and create the network of changemakers.
Panel Screening
Panel Screening is the open- screening of the Youth Venturer candidates where it is determined if they will be the Youth Venturer. As panelists, (judges), Ashoka invites diverse people from different areas who resonate with the vision of Ashoka.
